European Tournament K.O. system

There will be 4 Deathmatches with a limit of twelve player, to define the 16 player who will take part in the real tournament.

In the DM’s all weapons aside from Bazooka / Photon Rifle /(Kamikaze Nuke) can be used.

This tournament will be played with the KO-system to define the winner after 5 rounds.

In this part of the tournament there will be played 1v1’s of course with these rules:

1.: Flame is not allowed in any way, we search the best aimer not the best lamer.

2.: Killing yourself with grenades on purpose is not allowed.

3a.: You can only chose ||Sub Machine Gun|| ||Sniper Rifle|| ||Dual Machine Gun|| and
||Shotgun||

b.: The other weapons can only be chosen with enemy’s agreement.

c.: There are 2 rounds; in the first, one player choses a map(only standard maps) & weapon, which the enemy has to take, too. In the second it’s the other one’s turn.

4.: As said, there are 2 rounds; each of them will be played to 15 kills and in the end the higher summary of both scores will define the winner.

Example: 1st round: A vs B 15-10 2nd round: A vs B 11-15

> A has 26 and B has 25 so A has won.

In case it’s a tie there will be a third round on a predefined map to 10 kills using a weapon both agree on. If there will be no agreement the responsable “organiser/admin” will decide.


1st Deathmatch: 18th of April || Start at 19:45-20:00

2nd Deathmatch: 19th of April || Start at 19:45-20:00

3rd Deathmatch 25th of April || Start at 19:45-20:00

4th Deathmatch 26th of April || Start at 19:45-20:00


1st round must be played from 27th of April to 2nd of May

2nd round must be played from 3rd of May to 9th of May

3rd round must be played from 10th of May to 16th of May

Final at 17th of May || Start at 19:45-20:00 If it cannot be played at this time, finalists organise a day or time where it can be played.

Where do I apply? I'd like to test my skills against the best of the best.

You just have to join at Deathmatch dates and play

If you get 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th you are qualified

Man, you say the enemy has to take the same weapon as you? And why is flame not allowed? It's not 'lame', there are some players who really like using it though. But for Snipers, having no flame is quiet shit.

Playing the tournament is volunteerly, so I prefer that you just pla, if you want :]

can i just point out few things here... :-)

player who is better with sniper doesnt have a chance against some1 who is better with smg. for example, smg player chooses smg and DM-Pong and plays so that enemy spawns up right every time he dies. smg one just runs towards enemy and kills him from mid range to avoid flame. on other map sniper player has no chance in making so much kills. so imo, with current rules it is not cool to even the weapons.

no rule about maps - one can choose small map and spawn shot with sniper on it for example.

no rules about spawn flames and nades.

also, if i win on my map with my weapon in first game i can just choose not to spawn the hole second game and it will end 0-0 thus i am winner. or i make a lead by 1 on any map and do the same tactics till the end.

just few thoughts.. ;-) gl with your tureny

This tourney is, on the fact few weapons can be used, a "Who is the best all-rounder?"-tourney, because it should not be a tournament like CAT or the Sniper tourney.

Means it's not enough to be a god with sniper, no you must be able to play a good smg, too.

Every player will chose his own map and of course spawn shots are not allowed, it will be said before every match. But I will set probably a limit, that only 3v3 maps (or lower) can be chosen.

Look above, as I said Spawnkills or hits aren't allowed in anyway and will be announced before. I just thought it's self-explainable.

I did not thought about it, but i'm only a human, too, right =]. Well If I see that the player will be warned( or I will set force respawn)


But all in all I think the people play for fun and not to be pussys .

people play to win, thats the point of tournament...

well good to hear about spawn shots. :-) well i am glad for this tourney, at least smth is happening, so gj to you ;-) and rest is just my thoughts about how to make things better so here goes:

ah ok, so no time limit. then that is ok for balancing weapons. so if you change the time to 180min for example and play until 15kills is reached then speed of weapon is not important. BUT :-) with no time limit some games could get very long, especially when sniper will be played.

force respawn is good option for it. and in a way it reduces the possibility of spawn nades and sets pace of game much faster.

Forbidding flame is stupid imo, it's part of the game and of the skillz.

Maybe next time there could be 2 qualifications during the week and 2 on the weekend, if there will be a next time. I'm also in favor of playing during the week.

We can use grenades so yea, flame should be allowed.

as I understand its played to 15 kills so it doesn't matter if you do run away, cause you will never end the game unless you reach 15 kills, so there would be no point in running
