Its a transformers mouse )
I have at present a broken mouse, but soon this one:
Roccat Kone Gaming Laser Mouse Black
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE
The revolutionary 6000dpi Pro-Aim Laser Sensor, in conjunction with its 10.5 megapixel resolution and 1000Hz polling rate, offers maximum precision, even transmitting lightning fast mouse movements with up to 30Gs of acceleration and with speeds of up to 200ips (5.08m/s) without loss or lag. Thanks to the Tracking & Distance Control Unit, which is now integrated in the laser sensor, the ROCCAT Kone[+] can also calculate the lift-off distance as well as fine-tune the sensor to suit the mousepad. The result: optimal tracking.

Re: Mouse of choice
uhm copying web articles about mouses is cool but topic would be more helpful, if You add You personal setting (in babo) to compare them. Otherwise its easier to simply put your mouse names and we can google the articles as well...

Re: Mouse of choice
Useful topic man, nice mouse too clay looks kinda chunky but, I got a new mouse bout 8 months ago and wondered which one to get I was previously using heavy lightest mx1000, I wanted new razor one that looks like a stealth bomber but no chance was I paying £90 for a mouse when my pc sucks, anyway i asked a few babo's and done some research and now I has a logitech mx518 I think same one as cnik :p was only £25 and had lots and lots of good reviews.

Re: Mouse of choice
Diggin old threads for a good old fashion revival is refreshing.
My beloved mx310 broke down, poor baby, and has been replaced with Oscar X7 710BK
In the meantime I also switched from 1024x768 screen resolution to 1920x1080, so I play babo in window mode at 1024x768. My mouse DPI of choice is 1600. I tried to play with 2000 but it's too fast for my gamestyle. 1600 is just about fine. I have to say the mouse is very well built, tracking is perfect and it comes at a bargain price (11euros). I got extra teflon pads too (2sets)
Smol gif showing on-the-fly DPI change and colour indicators. (you can assign any colour or simply no led lit for any DPI)

R.A.T. 5
http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/rat5.htm
Works. Software tends to forget custom mappings. Smaller than I thought it would be.
Sniper button is good.
Comes with extra weights. Good for making it heavier so movement is more precise.
Sensitivity seems weird compared to my old mouse. I had a Sidewinder X3 (the mouse wheel started disintegrated and won't middle click) and always had it at 2000dpi. 2000 on the R.A.T 5 doesn't seem as "fast". Maybe I am missing something. The R.A.T 5 goes up to 5600dpi (some places say 4000 so make sure it's the right one) which is fine though.
Needs a flat surface. Don't put it on a horse mouse mat and rest it on your keyboard because that is shit and people will laugh at you.
It doesn't seem to be collecting dirt everywhere like the old one, but it does collect oil.
Oh well, I like it. It does all the things I want it to do and it isn't falling apart yet.

Was gonna say it looks like a transformer, but then you said that in the tea section. It isn't ugly, it's aesthetically disruptive.Anette wrote:no one laughs at you and your pretty horsie mouse mat

I tried it in BFBC2. I thought about getting BF3 but Anette told me to stop being lazy... hmm.BLADE RUNNER wrote:p.s. You're not playing babo anymore, so where do you put at use this rat you got?
