Re: Microsoft Office Access
With all the respect I have for you Sash,
Seriously, who the hell cares about who's right/wrong on that stupid argument ?
She just asked here, now she saw the result, well alright.
I think she knew that google existed before.
The art of speaking is a wonderful art, but arguing on such stuffs is pointless.
Cheers.

Re: Microsoft Office Access
lets look at the fact then, there are ppl here with good computer skills, and doing developing that is a fact. I never thought it was majority but there are some. I also knew it wouldn't be the topic with most responses and that was never my intention either.Sasha wrote:
Anette,
Let's look at the facts together. The community is not a developers'/geeks'/DBA's one and the chance to meet a person possessing a good MS Access guide here is not really high. Secondly, we may notice there was a page of responses prior to mine which, apparently, weren't satisfying (with almost 5 days in-between).
The best option I'd suggest you is to conduct a search of your own, saving your time and choosing the best resource speaking for you. This is the best way I know - and I'm offering it to you. You can choose to dismiss it, use it yourself or check Crapper's findings for example.
I think it is sad you feel we cannot use this forum and community to ask for help and it is insulting you tell me about google, as if I live under a rock. Honestly if your best offer as help is to use google just don't post it. What harm can it do, to ask if someone here have a tutorial that they found helpful instead of me spending hours searching and in the end finding the same? IMO there is no harm in helping others.
and yes, I am gonna dismiss what u said and look at what those actually posting something relevant found when I have some time.
and I am done with this now, so don't bother replying.
Re: Microsoft Office Access
btw... did u make a DB yet? it's the best way to learn. access is pretty simple for doing some basically stuff with DB. like organize your filmography by genre, artists, ecc... or your library.. the worst part in DBs is to type in datas... rly booring.
