Re: Movies
Geronimo wrote:Inception - really great movie but it is a bit overrated imo, for ex. best judge of quality of a movie is - would you pay again to watch it in the cinema for second time. i would not. but dont get me wrong, it is really good movie with lots of nice new ideas, great performance and all. just isnt epic.
I would. Wouldn't even have to think about it twice
Since we're on this page, share some of the movies you thought were epic, G man.

And there's actually a theory which states that our perception of time changes with years. As we get older, time seems to speed up, thus days don't last as much as they used to. But...that's another bed time story ^^

Well, whatever fits u -.-' I just don't really think if u don't like a movie it would be related to the time, or maybe at least not in this one particularly...If you said that about any LOTR, I could be more comprehensive. But Hey, opinions are like assholes blabla Imo was a smart one, and it had an open end.
Looking forward to these two now

Re: Movies
District 9 was okay, but it could have been much better.
I liked "How to train your Dragon" and "Despicable Me" too (the little yellow guys are killers xD)
I just recently saw "Gamer":
I liked the idea of the movie. It had an interesting plot and imo it would have been much better if instead of a movie, they would have done a short series (around 10 eps), because the plot had a lot of good exploring to do and ways it could go.
Instead the movie just cut it off and tried to dispatch it in barely 2 hours of movie...

Re: Movies
Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me to find a movie I watched long time ago, and I can't remember the name, only vaguely the plot. There is a chance it wasn't a move but a miniseries, anyway it's about a man whose child and wife died in a plane crash and he survived (or he wasn't there), and he starts investigating, has smth to do with supernatural powers researched by some institution. I think the movie was based by a book, and it was pretty long.
Thanks in advance
