Crosshit

Hey peeps,
I'm trying to edit my Crosshit.tga but I'm failing at it.

To make it short I got some pictures displaying my problem:

This is my crosshair (taken from Adm.T) :


Now I wanna edit the Crosshit file to fit in my transparent sector of the crosshair:



as you can see i managed to make the transparent sector red, but failed to only apply it to that sector.

Untill now I can't solve it and only came so far:




If anyone knows how to do it, or even wanna do it himself pls contact me via msn (profile) or just here.

What program are you using to change it?
I used GIMP when I made some crosshairs and hits. Try that prog.

I did it with gimp and ps.
No difference! :/

Just to make it clear, that crosshair wasn't made by me, it's from proclient
on topic; I tried making different crosshits and I think I did succeed, if you want I can try to do something

I hope I made my idea clear. If I did not:
I want the crosshit to blink red in the way u see it in both pictures but only in the transparent part of the crosshair.

Are you sure you set that bg color to alpha channel? Inner circle needs to have a mix of red+alpha, while the outer square needs only alpha.

I noob! I don't even know how to set what you mentioned...

Simple, first start a new tga file, or open the one you already have, then follow this:

set brush transparency for drawing the middle part




save with correct settings

Nova I have what you want. But I want an exchange. You send me the cursor and I send you the crosshit Not sure of your cursor's diameter but here it goes, altough I think they're all the same. -> Crosshit

@Var: This is the cursor. The crosshit overlaps the crosshair a bit. But thats not a significant point. If u ever change it. Just upload the new one.
