DM#2, 04.06.2011.

This one was much closer than the last one, with 5 players in range of 1-2 kills in first 5 minutes. After that, dad0, me and Admi separated from the rest with a battle for top 3 places, while Riku, fibz, Malin, Deos and Fireballz battled for 4th, which in the end went to Deos. dad0 made a nice streak near the end to secure the first place, while 2nd went to Admi in last couple of seconds.

Players who qualified are:
1. dad0
2. Admiral Thrawn
3. Cinc
4. Deos

good ping is good except those few big spikes ^^ ggs, gratz to dad0 for winning, and the other 2 who qualified :]

Same with me Riku, last 2 spawns couldn't find anyone, dropped from 4th to 6th, at least I dealt the most damage . Congrats to the first 4!

Deathmatch is a game-kill higher you can for some time period.



Ranking captures the flag by flags is still the most meaningless policy ever, only leads to flagsteals and "random" (grenade) spam control.

Captures the flag is a game-captures higher you can (reach the limit) for some time period.

This two examples are similar in some way.

Tournament (deathmatch 2) : Maybe try to play 16 or 24 min where some1 from spec change weapons every 2 or 3 min to all at the same time,maybe will be more interestingly tournament.

( I played that game only couple the time-for fun,crapper was do that from spec.i think)

Tournament (captures the flag 2) : For example- when some1 was killed he/she cant join again until some1 of the teams scored or all died with out scores,(that was one round),no time or put 2,3 min per round. Both times play until some team win the first 4,5,6... round.
(time and number to win rounds depend how many players are play 3/3...10/10)
Maybe tournament will be boring and slow maybe will be more interestingly with more tencion ,dunno.

This is just idea.

fragsteals yes, random spam, i dont think so. no winning player does random spamming, too much revealing of your position on map. and fragsteals are ok because:

your arguments could be valid if deathmatch was called skillmatch where it would imply competition of general skill in babo, rules then should be different. but as it is called DEATHmatch, and death is brought by kill no matter if it is from random nade or after few secs of pure 1on1. you are thrown in arena and your goal is to kill others. you think in nature someone asks when bigger fish eats two fighting smaller ones? :-)

so to conclude, your whine isnt about dm being bad but about not having different type of competition. :-P
