no drama, Nega's just being himself..

The brackets are up, and the tournament starts tomorrow at 12.00 with OTA vs CINC. There's more info in the brackets post. The seeds and the randomizing have been posted in the registrations topic.

Seeds: This was a little tougher than I thought, there were some close decisions. In the end, I think the brackets after randomizing look good.

Maps: I lined up 6 commonly played maps
Cornered, Thorns, Slant, Brutus, Field, Rawr
and then asked Bullet to say a number between 1 and 6, without him knowing what it was about. He said 3, 4, and 5, so we will play Slant in the quarters, Brutus in the semis and Field in the finals. Good luck =)

Oh damn, 2 teams I wanted to avoid the most are in my way to the finals, but nvm we shall prevail!

New rule that I forgot: The highest seed in a match gets to pick the colour.
edit: that is to say, seed 1 is the highest - and 8 is the lowest.

Somerthing I forgot to change from the original post was that the final is 1 round, not 3 as it said there. Damn there are a lot of things that can be messed up or forgotten when making rules for the first time

So the question is : if u want to avoid spec-cheating, why do you provide the same default spec-view through the streaming channel ?

I'm sure we'll see another of these tournaments fairly soon, and maybe get even more participants - come on, from you 80 people who watched the finals surely we can find more than 7 teams who wanna try their luck

Honestly I liked the thought of someone trying to cheat and then finding that it was completely out of sync. I guess now that its official Ill just put it in though
