25 Best SMGs of the last 2 years

These players were ranked by 5 criteria: Aim, tactical skills, preformance on public matches, preformance in competitive matches (includes schoolies, 1v1 and tournaments), and my personal judgement as a tiebreaker. Max score in each criteria is 20, except the last one.

Explanation of criteria:
Aim - consistency of aim, preformance in regular encounters
Tactical skills - Positioning, general movement in matches
Public matches - Gameplay on deathmatch, team deathmatch and public ctf
Competitive matches - Gameplay on schoolies, 1v1s and clan matches

I selected 35 people whose main weapon is smg*, which I consider the top, and ranked them according to the criteria, which gave the top 25. If you notice an ommision from the list, feel free to tell it in your post, I'll rank it according to the criteria and possibly add to the list.

*Reptillia, Soda and Claymore are actually smgers, but better known for preformances with other weapons

Hmm, nice idea and interesting list. Although I must say that if Aim counts as a skill, so should Dodging. Also, imo there should be a difference between attackers and defenders, since the job is entirely different xD

Overall, good effort even if I don't agree with some of the placements, but I'm sure we all have favorites ^^

Well I tried to be as objective as I could, and judging by the current vote this list is plain wrong xD.

Come on people, this wasn't meant to be the final list, I want suggestions, you can freely write your own ranking for a player with an explanation, I'll judge it fairly and add to the list, or remove, if smth like that becomes nessecary

i should get +2 on being apprentice who got up to the point where he can kick his teacher ass.

cool idea tho these kind of threads have very high risk of being locked very quickly. XD

imo these players should get a higher rank then where they are now (not specifying how much because i dont believe so much in rankings like this): reptillia, claymore, crapper, negative, cephei and grendel.

also, in any top smg list, joker should be there somewhere for sure.

Can't make a difference between the first 3 players, equally great ;p
Imo Ceph belongs to #4, Blubi to #5 and Fire should be in the first 10 as well

I should be in top 10 but first place belongs to Grend, Nega should be top 5 at least

Hmmm apparently I should go through more screenshots and re-evaluate some rankings, btw I wouldn't mind expanding this from "2 years" to "all time" if someone else would do the rankings for some oldies like Joker, Thunderball or any other players that rocked before i started playing.

Yeah, apparently neither should I

Dunno really. It's hard to make this accurate. Some were inactive when others were active. For example most people probably don't think I'm anything special since the last 2+ years have meant low fps for me. Claymore should have a higher rank, he was top smger for quite some time.

I think with a ranking for the last 2 years u can't judge everyone fair. You'd better do it for a smaller time period! Just like FbZ said, some guys are playn actively in 1st quartal others in the second. Also you could divide it into def players and att players. For each one are requiered different skills. Also it's important to add little things like nading, movement/dodging, cleverness, etc. Also u should think of the ppl who were pawning everyone when they played actively (like Claymore). But that depends on what u want to show. If u want to show all time ranking or just up to date.

Yeah, and while you're at it also think of the people who play with bad mouses, bad keyboards, low settings, no shadow effect, that are drunk/tired/sad when playing, the people who play during the day/at night, the people with 0/33 and those who play with 66/99, damn Cinc, You Have to think about all of these things.

Hmm now that you said it, I think I took the best smgs from period of two years and ranked them by accomplishments at their prime, not over a period of time... I'll have to do another revision I think.... sigh..

Btw, "Honorable Mentions" means people who are also great smgs but for some reasons didn't make it on the list.
