How to make your friends list working?



1. Run the the updater and make sure your database is 8th version or above.

You may update manually by downloading the bv2.db file and put it in your babo directory.

2. Register at the accounts system
3. Add friends. (you may add me as a test account)
4. Wait for them to accept your friends request.
5. Log in in the game using the form on the main menu.


Stats collector:
Statistics about the amount of kills, deaths, captures, returns, attempts to take the flag and time spent on field being saved from the servers pushes you into the overall players rating. The rating is region-independent and world wide.

The rating is based on your kills / deaths ratio as soon as you reach 50 deaths.
Your rating will appear on the userbar you may download in the preferences section at the ladder system.

To enable stats collecting on your server perform the next few steps:
1. log in as admin: admin login password
2. add the report url: - addreporturl http://ladder.baboviolent2.ru/requests/gamereport.php
3. Set the server to report the games: - set sv_report true

[*] Unfortunately, due to a bug, prior to 2.11f reports are being counted only in CTF games.
[*] You can drop your stats one time every two weeks.

The formula
your Rating = kills / deaths + time * frogs eyes - snake's tongue.
The higher the better. Keep on a good ratio, play a lot. Here is your recipe.


The stats page and cache reloads every few hours
the usrebars - once a day:

Userbars:
You may get your userbar at the preferences page
The images are updated once a day with the stats.


Ratings are as follows:
A - Regional top 25
B - Regional top 100
C - Everyone else
D - Not rated (less then 50 deaths in overall)

As for the moment, any further development has been stopped
Anyone possessing the appropriate skills and knowledge, willing to participate and help is wisely welcome. (Address the bv2 dev. team via the NA forum)

just another thing: what's this "drop stats"? and what is its function?

It resets your stats, So you can start over.

so if i drop my stats i lose my position and have start from position 7000 ecc?
or i will lose only my stats like kills, death and others?

Yes, you'll have to start climbing up from the 7000's position.
Luckily, that wouldn't be hard.

I struggled to be in 21 position....that would be a tragedy! XD

Recently ladder was moved to another server (thanks RnD). Now we (the new team) have some control on it and want to continue development. So, if you want to give some help, please contact via email or jabber warlabs@gmail.com.

gl with it, what new ideas do you have?

Our main discussion thread is on the russian community' forum (use Google Translate).

Long story short:

• Achievements: visited regional/world top, captured 500 flags, etc;
  
• Temporary medals: best damager, best capturer, worst capturer (based on try/cap ratio), etc;
  
• Separate clans rating: clan wins/loses (based on squad server battles);
  
• Separate pr0-gamerz top;
  
• Better rating formula (we're working on it, check discussion)
  
• Etc, etc, etc. Suggest your ides.
  

Recently I've updated userbars feature and started collecting more detailed data, so news will come soon.

For some reason my damage value is stored in float format instead of integer



Does any1 know the cause ?

This is developer's choice. Damage is stored as float becouse it is float

I'm the only one having it in float, first 25 euro players have it ALL in integer. How can it be random ?

You see *your* stats in float form. Stats for all other players displayed as integer.

there isn't. you need to contact sasha I think to have it reset. Or whoever is in control of the website now.

or if you can find your old babo folder and the bv.cfg file - your old pass is in there written
