Sniper Story

Hi all,

A month or two ago I made a little movie, it's footage of me playing on pubs. I recorded and made the movie in a few days. My intention was to change it after and add other footage to it but I got tired recording. The recording process made me lag too much and it wasn't fun playing. So I'm gonna post it anyways for those who want to see it.

You can see it on the CK-website, the quality isn't that good but you can press HQ while playing the movie for better quality.

Nice with some babo video! It would be even nicer though if you played some cms and had some nice stuff from there, because this is a lot like watching you shoot at sitting ducks..

Yeah I know, but when recording I have lag and maximum fps of 50. I tried recording a bit of action during cm's but it didn't go that well. It's better for me and my team that I play fluently with over 400 fps
Maybe if someone knows a way to record your play without lagging and low fps let me know and I'll try it but I think it will always cause some kind of lag.

400 fps... LOOOOL... lucky u... i had 30-40 normally in pub... and if i try to record some action with fraps my Babo just crash

Well Neo I used fraps, it's the only one I know. It's very easy to use.
And for making the video I used windows movie maker, can't get easier then that.

In normal games (big first person shooters) you can record your game very easy because most games have a record option included wich makes a demo of all your play. It doesn't influence the gameplay at all. Then later you can watch your demo's and then use fraps to record pieces of the demo that you want. But I don't think babo has such a thing, if it does please tell me

Yeah I understand.. I've tried recording in babo too and it lags a lot, can't really play your A game with it on.

dunno if some1 tried but if you have 2 computers at home maybe it is possible to somehow connect them. in a way that monitor of other shows what is shown on the first one but in process it runs fraps or some other program for recording.

just an idea, if anybody tries do tell the results... :-)

actually, two hole computers since you have to have other processor that takes care of fraps. ^^

You could try recording with some other software. I tried to record with a program called Debut Video Capture, it lowered my fps for some 20-30%.

EDIT: Now i saw that the video is very low quality, so forget about this.

Well maybe some of you noticed that the vid isn't available anymore on youtube due to copyright infringements regarding the soundtrack AND the rapidshare link is broken. So I'm asking you guys, if someone has it to upload it on rapidshare or w/e so I can download it. Rush is almost never online and I don't have his MSN to talk to him directly so help would be apreciated.
