First of all, when I talked about bitching, I was just refering to the fullface hit story. I just find that ridiculous.
Second thing when I say every weapon is balanced (and YES it is!), I just mean this way that the weapons are good as they are and that we can keep them. It's supposed to be "babo 3" so why not keeping some features of bv2 ?
Last thing I wanted to say is that a lot of ppl play some shitty games. And making something new will not inevitably bring ppl here. Look at babo invasion: I'm sure nobody plays it

thx for support clay. tho i disagree that every weapon is balanced. imo we can say without reservation that only smg and sniper are balanced and a big MAYBE for dmg and ft. other thing is to use disadvantage of less balanced weapons as handicap when playing.
i can say that i will try with all my power to make the game feel like it feels now. i can promise also that once that is accomplished (tho some changes are ofc expected if because nothing else then because of different technologies we are using) new things, new weapons and new balances will be integrated into game BUT with serious involvement of community and detail testing on public games and clan matches. i have bunch of good ideas how to make this work so no worries about that. ;-)
tho, topic and my call for brainstorm was not for debate about balance in game but about ideas that would make this game more enjoyable. so debating about number of some variable isnt useful to us in this point of time but, for ex., idea about some new useful variable is smth we can use.

It's good to see that a lot of people are involved with this and giving some ideas. It'll sure make things worth while for the guys from the development team.
I liked the idea about SMG having a reload time - it will make it more challenging and put yet another layer between those who can Really use Smg and those who play around with it. ^^
I have a couple of ideas too, but they are not fully formed and since the G man already said it's not the best time for "new" ideas but rather for improvements I will just put them on hold. (just know they are there, G xD)
However, I wanted to say something. Currently in babo we can mainly devide the players in two groups: shielders and knifers. No one uses the 3rd secondary weapon, which is the nuke (not in cms or schooly anyway), so I was thinking that it would be a good thing to either modify the nuke so that it can actually be more useful, or make a new secondary weapon to replace nuke, so that we could have another strategic secondary weapon to use.

:::: +1 to the rubell's idea of a vector for trowing nades. Imho that enables also new game mods (worms, for exaple ;-P).

Nah, i just read the post, suggestions but we didnt do anything.

I hope someone (Cinc?) is still working on this project.
As far as I know, the one of primary goals is to make Cubo compatible with Babo Violent.
I don't know if you are already did it, but I'm researching Babo Violent Map (.bvm) format. For now, I wrote specs and made proof-of-concept parser which understands all the important things (except ProClient eye-candies, but I'll keep working on it).
Let me know if I can help you.

Well if you asses really wanna know, I had a little talk with Gero after my so called ragequit, where we decided that we'll still be working on it, and that we will start when he finally gets some free time. We were actually supposed to start some 3 weeks ago, but something kept him busy and we couldn't, and I haven't heard anything of him since then.
