Post formatt problems?

Hello here,
Let me say first that I'm a total global noob about techical stuff and about hardware... so I'm gonna ask :
Yesterday I formatted my pc and now I've some problems with babo, I can't explain well what is the problem but I can't aim like I did before, my babo seems more.. uhm.. slow and clumsy. I'm not sure but before I had 60 fps (but I didn't ever check how many fps in game, I had 60 in spec-mode), now I see that I have 30 in game.
Obviously just formatting I dind't touch my video card, so what could be the problem?
My brother (who helped me in formatting) installed me drivers but I'm not sure they are the same that I had before, maybe I had different drivers so now I have "only" 30 fps? This is really frustrating, I want back my BV exactly how it was!!!

maybe the vsync turned on with the format? i dont now much about this stuff but it could be worth a try

You need to install your graphic card drivers. go to their web page

maybe that u have to cut off some messy special effects..

try to put:

res 800x600
color depth 16bit
ecc...

I already tried

Install DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en
Make sure Vsync is turned off in your graphics driver (to turn off in game go to console and type: set cl_enablevsync false) or find the bv2.cfg in your babo folder, open it with notepad and edit the line for vsync.

Great, I turned off Vsync and now the problem seems fixed!!!!
