RJ45 to RJ11
So here's the thing. I got CAT5 cable from outside to my house. All know that CAT5 runs on RJ45. The thing is I have a router that uses RJ11 for its' connection. I don't have a direct internet connection (always on) might I add. My connection is PPOE if that matters.
So my question is: can I open the cable and fit it with RJ11 to work on my router? Having in mind of course I can alter only the end of the CAT5 in my house and not the one that goes out in the modem or w/e. If so, whats the pinout for the RJ11.
Thanks minions!
