Goddamn people can't you see that something needs to be done about it. Last poll clearly indicated so, but when time came to do something, everyone including me got silent. Well that's not gonna be the case now. Zooka is overpowered, and remote not should, but MUST be disabled. I'm tired of clans taking zooka as a mean of joking with someone, or to cause confusion, massive fps drops and chaos. Some order needs to be brought to this game.

Last time, as I remember, you started topic about lowering zooka damage. Now let's disable remote detonation. Next will be about disabling zooka at all? You disappoint me more and more.

damage= 0.85
remote= 0.6 (0.8 on old servers I think)
leave the remote on.

My suggestion. Don't touch it. Learn how to fight against it.

thats why zook teams win one day babo tourneys and are part of best clans in EU. right. Shocked cyclops dont be wussies and adapt.

also, it is interesting to point out that the best players, at least in my eyes, have absolutely no problem with zook. only middle class players. go figure.

Well it obviously never happened to you that you give your best, are owned fair and square but the enemy decides to provoke even more by playing zooka just to shoot at spawns or to spam to make your screen shake all the time. One of the reasons I had that little zooka-related incident.

If the enemy has already won, why not use the remainder of the time for practice.
Srsly though, I think you're not being objective about this. What I'm reading in the above answer is that it only hurts you but I've seen cms where people played zooka. Noone complained about it.
As for you Varlan, you were in a clan with Ardu but didn't mind him playing zooka afaik. Does this mean that it's OK as long as it doesn't hurt you?
Also, the poll is for turning off remote on RS servers, what about pub players becoming good enough to play on RS, joining and finding that some weapons are disabled? I'd feel cheated if I was a zooker joining a Squad server and finding my weapon nerfed so much and that no admin would enable remote detonation just because some players don't like to play against it.
How would it feel to join a server where snipe had been removed? I know you play SMG mostly but you've picked up a snipe from time to time, just like other players have picked up a zooka. Right off the bat many would say they didn't care but if you've come to rely on a sniper on your team, it would be lame not to have the assurance of a tagger on your side.
I know zooka isn't a snipe but it can be used in the same way, "tagging" and dealing damage, either with remote, a wall hit or by hitting your teammate as he passes the place where the enemy is hiding, to make it easier for your teammate to kill an opponent.
Anyway, that's how I see it. Don't like zooka? Time their shots and use photon against them or pick up a snipe to take them out from afar. IMO the remote has put an effective brake on walling matches in the game.

C, I never agreed on remote detonation, even though Ardu used it. IMO is noobish and pro players should use normal fire with zooka. Think of sniper with similar setting, or photon. The matter of fact is, like Gero pointed out, that top players don't make a fuss about it. They eat and deal with it.

p.s. Not noobish, just opportunistic which ain't bad if you want to cheat the system, but honorable... I doubt.

Please don't forget what ALL weapons are instant, instead of zooka. Zooka's projectile has (slooooooow) speed. It's able to kill you even if you behind the corner, because of remote detonation. That's it feature. Weapons are different. No one's whining about photon keep giving damage when you staying in the beam. No one's whining about grenade explosion shaking screen too. Different weapons have their own behaviour, and you'll better get used to it.

Shut up and try to fight better. A bad dancer blames his balls, just like you blame zooka. What you'll blame if zooka will be disabled completely? Photon? FT? Molotov?
